Forgotten Cookies

Meringue Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 egg whites
- 2/3 cup sugar
- pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F)
- Beat egg whites till stiff, gradually add sugar.
- Add salt and vanilla.
- Add chips
- Drop by spoonfuls on foil lined cookie tray. Put in oven and turn oven off. Leave oven door closed. Leave in overnight.
Light and airy cookies and very good. And only 25 calories.
... a little like meringue!

ReplyDeleteThey are called forgotten because you put them in the oven and then forget about them. : )

ReplyDeleteSo pretty. In my langiages it schuimpjes. That is a difficult name for you, I think. They resemble pavlovas. In a pavlova, cornstarch is added to make the inside softer.
