Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter (1/2 Cup)) softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old fashioned Quaker oats
- 1 cup raisins (I leave the raisins out because family prefers it)
- Heat over to 350 degrees
- In large bowl beat butter and sugars on med sped until creamy
- Add eggs and vanilla and beat well
- Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt, mix well
- Add oats and raisins, mix well
- Drop by rounded tablespoons (I used Pampered Chef med scoop) onto ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute, remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
I prefer Oatmeal cookies without the raisins, too. Thanks for sharing.
