Multiple Choice Bar Cookies

 Multiple Choice Bar Cookies

1. Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour into 9 x 13 pan

Evenly sprinkle ONE thing from the 'A' LIST over butter

'A' LIST - 1 1/2 cups of
Graham crackers crumbs
Vanilla wafer crumbs
Cocolate wafer crumbs
Animal cracker crumbs
Sugar cookie crumbs

2. Drizzle 1 can condensed milk (14 oz can) over crumbs

3. Sprinkle ONE thing from the 'B' LIST on top.

'B' LIST - 2 cups of
Chocolate chips
Butterscotch chips
Peanut butter chips
Raisins
M&M's without nuts

4. Sprinkle ONE thing from the 'C' LIST on top.

'C' LIST - 2 cups of
Flaked coconut
Rice Krispies
Mini marshmallows 
Frosted cornflakes, crumbled

5. Sprinkle ONE thing from the 'D' LIST on top.

'D' LIST - 1 cup
Walnuts
Pecans
Peanuts
Cashews 

6. Press all down with palms of your hand.

7. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

8. Cool and cut into bars.


So many different options for these bars and easy and fun to make.

I didn't want nuts so I picked a second ingredient from the
C list - Rice Krispies and they were Cocoa Rice Krispies


They were very good but a bit gooey.
I didn't grease the pan because of the butter on the bottom
but it did stick a bit so next time I will grease the pan.

This recipe came from one of the Joanne Fluke mystery books but I forgot which one.
