Three Bean Salad

 Three Bean Salad


Ingredients:
  • 14 oz can cut green beans
  • 14 oz can cut waxed yellow beans
  • 14 oz can kidney beans
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
  1. Mix first 4 ingredients, set aside.
  2. Whisk together the last four ingredients.
  3. Add to the beans and mix well
  4. Let flavors blend together in refrigerator a few hours before serving.
You can add fresh vegetables, or substitute black beans for the kidney beans.
Great for making ahead even a day or so.
Stays good in refrigerator for 3 - 5 days.

We like to eat it with hamburgers, hot dogs, or grilled chicken.
