Chocolate Zucchini Cake

Chocolate Zucchini Cake

 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 1/2 cup butter milk (I used milk)
  • 2-3 cups grated zucchini (I used 2 1/2 cups)
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup nuts (I used Pecans)
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips.
  2. Add 1 cup chocolate chips to mixture and stir in.
  3. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
  4. Sprinkle the other cup of chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake 45 minutes in a 325 degree oven

Ready for the oven.


Out of the oven and ready to eat.

  2. This is a family favorite here! I use walnuts and bake it in a bundt pan. We usually have a dollop of whipped cream on it too. Soooo good!
