Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice (cold or day old)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 cup peas and carrots (thawed if frozen)
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 egg sightly beaten
Directions:
1. Heat skillet, add oil.
2. Add onion, peas and carrots and cook till tender and slide to one side.
3. Pour beaten egg in and scramble then mix together.
4. Add rice, pour soy sauce on top.
5. Stir and fry the mixture until combined and warm.
Ken and I both thought it was delicious.
Can be a side or even a meal.

ReplyDeleteLooks yummy. I love making rice dishes. We though mix millet in with our rice. Super yummy.
